Beauty on Trial: How I Test & Review Makeup Products Honestly
Trying out new makeup products is one of the most exciting parts of being in the beauty world. From bold lipsticks to glowy highlighters, there’s always something new to explore. But with so many options out there, how do you know what’s worth your money? That’s where honest reviews come in!

Here’s how I test and review products before sharing them with you:
1. First Impressions Matter
I always take note of the packaging, scent, texture, and how the product applies. Does the formula feel smooth? Is it easy to blend? First impressions give me a quick glimpse of what to expect.
2. The Wear Test
I wear the product throughout the day to see how it holds up. Is that foundation still flawless after 8 hours? Did the eyeliner smudge? Long-lasting wear is a big win in my book.
3. Skin Reactions & Comfort
Some products may look good but feel heavy or cause breakouts. I keep track of how my skin reacts over time and whether the product feels comfortable for daily use.
4. Honest Thoughts – No Filters
When I review products, I give you the real deal—what I loved, what could be better, and whether it’s worth trying. Everyone’s skin and style are different, so I keep things clear and unbiased.
5. Comparing Dupes & Price Points
Sometimes a drugstore gem performs just as well as a high-end favorite. I love comparing products to help you find the best value for your budget.
Trying out makeup should be fun! Not overwhelming. My goal is to help you discover products that truly work for YOU.
